Rapper and songwriter Byron Brock formally known as ill Manor was born 1981 in Rialto, California. He played varsity basketball at Rialto High School and graduated in 1998. Shortly after, he joined the Armed Forces where he served a four year term in the Navy as a Cryptologist with an honorable discharge. After his service he decided to move to Las Veags where he teamed up with local artists and producers and sold more than 20,000 copies on the Strip. In 2004 he moved back to the I.E. and furthered his education at U.E.I. where he studied computers and business.  ill Manor’s main focus was to learn business to aid him for his passion of making music. During the same time he joined his brother who is an also talented songwriter and rapper Jodymack and formed Hustle Battalion which he sold 35,000 copies on the streets of I.E. giving him more than 55,000 copies under his belt.

ill Manor started writing and rapping at the age of 14. He writes from his life experiences connecting him with his audience. His inspiration comes from platinum artist such as Kanye West, Common, Jay-Z, Lil’ Wayne, Rick Ross etc. just to name a few. He has done local gigs and talent shows in and around the county and did an opening act for Lil’ Wayne. Currently his focus is providing the streets with “good music” and to become a local name for the I.E.  ill Manor’s aim is to prove that Inland Empire can produce quality rappers and lyricists. He strives to be the voice of I.E. through his musical talent and hard work. His latest Mixtape I.M.I.E. showcases his lyrical skills and ability. He is currently working on his latest project of the Mixtape Volume 2 which will be released at the end of 2008.
